"Suraya" is a Persian and Urdu word, in Arabic it's known as "Thuraya" and in English "Pleiades" meaning "cluster of seven stars" . We have adopted seven principles (modified for local campaign) to make our campaign work.
Suraya Foundation
Suraya foundation was formed by people who took the initiative to change the status quo and made efforts to help change the attitude of drivers and prevent reckless driving through adoption of safe driving principles.
Mission
Save lives by preventing accidents by reckless drivers through spreading sticky messages by mass media . The campaign hopes to change the attitude of unsafe drivers, by making them adopt safe driving principles. Our mission in one sentence is: -

Vision
Our long term goal is to reduce the rate of accidents due to reckless driving and help adopt three C's of safe driving - driver Care, Courtesy and Consideration. We hope to play a part on Dubai government's drive to reduce road traffic accident deaths to zero by 2020. Our ultimate goal is to push government & NGO to adopt campaigns to mass spread road safety messages in Middle East thus preventing and saving thousands of lives. We would do this by providing case study of our radio project.
